All Heirlines projects that require ordering special records or documents to enhance the research, have a client- authorized ordering and payment provision. This approval authorizes Heirlines to order up to $200 USD in documents plus shipping and handling, as needed to progress research, which is additional to the fee paid for a research project. This client - authorized ordering and payment provision covers documents needed to be ordered such as birth, death, Social Security Number applications, marriage records, etc. that cannot be obtained at the various repositories immediately available to Heirlines. Heirlines will only charge the exact cost they incur in obtaining, preparing and mailing a document, with no additional processing fees. The Client understands that occasionally even though no document is found, fees are charged by various agencies to search their record holdings. The Client agrees to pay these fees as well. The Client understands that if Heirlines needs to order documents in excess of this $200 fee, Heirlines will contact The Client first before proceeding to order them.

The Client understands that Heirlines has no control over what any outside agency and their processes. The Client understands that the documents will be invoiced to the client upon receipt here at Heirlines. Once payment is received, the document will be sent to the client with the project report if the document and payment is received prior to the project completion. If received and paid for after the report has been mailed, the document will be sent US Priority Mail along with any needed explanation or recommendation for future research.

Heirlines Family History & Genealogy, Inc. provides commercial professional genealogy research services. We guarantee our work efforts. This guarantee pertains to Heirlines service time spent on the client's authorized research goals, not to the project end results. When research is conducted, there is no way of knowing beforehand what the results will be or the eventual costs of discovering or disproving the desired family history and genealogy. While Heirlines does not know in advance what information the records will hold, we do guarantee the quality and thoroughness of our Professional Genealogy Research.

Each professional genealogy research problem is unique and varies in the amount of time necessary to accomplish the desired goal. Records may not be available or may be lost. Some records take more time than others to obtain and analyze. Microfilms of records may be poor in quality or the records themselves may be in poor condition. There are many variables in producing a reputable family history. Heirlines will do our best to achieve the specified research goal(s) within the time allotted, guaranteeing the professional quality of their work, not, a specific result, or achievement of any the goal(s) within the allotted purchased professional genealogy research services time..

We endeavor to achieve the highest quality of family history and genealogy research through excellence, accuracy, professionalism, and service. We are dedicated to providing our family tree work in a timely and reliable manner through our credentialed skills and career experience and adherence to industry standards and ethics. We guarantee to seek continuous improvement in extending to you, our clients, the highest quality and best practices in the delivery of Heirlines professional genealogy research services.

Heirlines Family History & Genealogy, Inc. adheres to the Code of Ethics of the Association of Professional Genealogists (APG), The Board for Certification of Genealogists® (BCG), and the International Commission for the Accreditation of Professional Genealogists (ICAPGenSM), the respected organizations in the Professional Genealogy Research Services industry.

Research projects are handled in the order that payment is received by Heirlines with the Estimated Completion Date of Project being 8 to 12 weeks following receipt of the signed HEIRLINES Authorization Research Letter (ALE) with focused research goals. However, there may be times when such projects will extend beyond this normal time frame, depending upon receipt of client-provided family history materials needed to conduct the client-authorized research; client response time; receipt of correspondence from outside research contacts; the availability of resources; records acquisition delay; unforeseen circumstances or acts of God. In those situations we will keep the client informed about the needed extension.

A complete family tree is what everyone wants when they first start putting pieces in the puzzle of their pedigree. This requires first and foremost, accurate genealogical and historical records that can be accessed and researched to properly document and establish the desired family tree. The reality is because genealogical and historical records for the time period being searched may never have been created, or no longer exist, or inaccurate and misleading information was given when they were created - a complete documented family tree cannot be established for everyone. With that in mind, there is much that can be discovered and verified about the authentic pedigree for most people. With the help of the expert professional genealogists at Heirlines and our Concierge Professional Genealogy Research Services© and Certified US and International Genealogical and Historical Research Solutions©, the desired discovery becomes all the more possible.

Every client has different goals when they seek professional help in discovering the unknown about their family tree. Some clients are satisfied with knowing a few names while others want to make the leap across the ocean to their ethnic ancestral beginnings. Because the goals for research vary so widely and the eventual paths to the truth are not known in advance, the costs for such discovery are also unknown prior to doing all the needed research. That is why Heirlines offers professional genealogy research services in blocks of time that the consumer can purchase at will. We encourage our clients to pursue discovery of their ancestry using custom -designed projects devoted to their authorized research goals.

Heirlines is dedicated to providing full-service family tree research for our clients that costs according to how much time the client wants us to devote to their family history and genealogy goals. Our services are offered in 10, 20, 40 and 120 hour unique projects or blocks of time: Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum Family Tree Custom Research Services Projects. With the client always in control of how large or small a segment of time they want to order, these projects are purchased on an individual basis for as a complete family tree that the client wants and can be established by the available records.

Please see our Genealogy Services page for current costs and ordering your desired project.

Heirlines Family History & Genealogy, Inc.

While Heirlines does do forensic genealogy, probate and tracing heirs research, as well as custom family tree research, we are not a missing persons bureau. We recommend you contact a licensed and bonded private investigator for this type of search.

Yes. Heirlines Family History & Genealogy, Inc. is an Accredited Business with the Better Business Bureau of Utah. Click here.

Heirlines accesses DNA testing results through qualified affiliates used by clients interested in applying DNA to discover possible ancestral links. Surname and matriarchal testing results can be used to search for answers on the client's family tree as per their provided testing results.

If an Heirlines professional genealogy research services project is ordered and paid for and the client "changes his or her mind" within 3 business days, Heirlines will give a refund, less the amount that covers for credit card or banking fees and project set up fees (10% of project cost). This refund will be paid by check to the person and address on the sales receipt within 14 business days of notification of cancellation of order. After three business days, we do not give refunds for any reason.

Professional Genealogy research is best conducted using the known client-held genealogy and family history materials and data, which the client is requested to supply to Heirlines in Phase 1 Project Setup. Heirlines uses this information to prepare an Heirlines Research Authorization Letter (ALE) that includes the client's focused research goal(s) and Heirlines research terms that the client must review, approve, sign and return to Heirlines by email, mail or fax. Upon receipt of this (ALE) the project moves into Phase 2 Project Research.

After 3 months of Heirlines requests for such items, which efforts do subtract from the total time allotted in the purchase for the project, if the client chooses to not give Heirlines any of the genealogical or historical information needed to conduct the project research, or to return the signed (ALE) if Heirlines has been able to send one to the client, a certified letter will be sent to client making the request for information, and/or authorization of research goals if they can be determined in an Heirlines Authorization for Research Letter (ALE). Clients will be notified in this letter that we will close the account if nothing is received within 10 business days; but the project can be re-opened once the required information and/or (ALE) is received. The same cost per hour of project will apply at Heirlines discretion for this re-opened project from which all previous time expended will be subtracted from the total project hours purchased.

If and when the requested information is received, the project will be scheduled for an estimated completion date 3 months from the receipt of the project authorization letter (ALE) if it is either a Custom Genealogy Research Package (minimum 10 hours), Bronze, Silver Project, or Gold Genealogy Research Package, or a Probate Genealogy Research Package (Forensic Genealogy). The Platinum Genealogy Research Package and our larger Premier Genealogy Research projects will also have their estimated completion dates extended as per the specific project features.

If the Heirlines Research Authorization Letter with the client-authorized goals is never signed and returned to Heirlines, after 6 months, we will complete the project as per the goals listed on the unsigned authorization letter (ALE). We will then send the completed report of project findings to the client at the last known address as per project specifics for the estimated completion date.

We do not give refunds for any project research no matter the outcome of the research or the research findings. Because we have no control over what information the records searched will contain or how they relate or do not relate to the client-authorized goals or goals listed on the unsigned Heirlines Research Authorization Letter (ALE), we will not refund any monies because the client does not like the Heirlines professional genealogy report of project findings. In as much as delay in delivery of the completed project is inherent in the research process, we also do not give refunds in case of delays in reporting or mailing research results.
